Had the pleasure of being on Brian’s podcast the other week and talked about parenting. He kindly sent this card in the days that followed.
On his show, the first thing he asked was,
“What advice do you have for other parents?”
My answer? Stop listening to other people’s advice, including my own. Every family is different. Every child is different. Every parent is different.
And the video game thing… I’m not into games, but my kids are. So I “ready up” and get my ass kicked by them a few times a week. If it makes them happy, it makes me happy.
