Some of you know Liz Benny, or many of you have heard of her.

She’s inspired many with her online success a decade ago, and continues to inspire with her infectious personality and smile.
I had heard of her through Inner Circle, and looked forward to meeting her one day.
At Funnel Hacking Live 2.5 years ago she was in Florida from New Zealand. I didn’t directly know her, but fate would soon change that.
Her and another good friend, Michael “Unbroken,” we’re going to connect. But their flight times prevented that.
Until one flight was delayed. Then another.
Then they found themselves enjoying dinner and becoming friends.
Never one to let a mutual connection go to waste, I sent her a message. I went back into my DMs to find it to share with you.
First call, all the baggage.
How we bonded? Skipping the fluffy stuff. Where we were at in life. Wins that got us there, and losses keeping us stuck.
Fast forward, and we now talk weekly, and… we inspire each other.
