My office is below our master bedroom and my wife has her phone on blast on speaker. She’s calling all these places making some sort of appointments.
One moment I hear a lady asking about 12pm-this, 1pm-that. Next call, some dude is confirming something for 3pm.
I’m like, “what the hell are all these things she could possibly be scheduling?”
She’s up there booking herself a massage, and a mommy-daughter date at the nail salon.
For a brief moment, I get a little jealous, “must be nice.” 😆 The phrase I absolutely hate when people say to me.
That quickly passes and then I’m happy for her. She deserves it.
She gracefully let me have “my time,” working late nights, early mornings, weekends, whatever over the first few years of our now 16-year old SEO agency.
Grateful she has that freedom of time, and we have financial security for her to do those things. I wouldn’t have this business at the level it is without her being graceful when there were moments I needed to be selfish with time.
Happy she gets to share in the rewards of those time investments from the early few years.
