Retention is relative. 12 months is my minimum.
How can you increase retention? Good proactive communication to set expectations. It helps educate clients to properly support you.
And, results don’t happen over night, so you should be telling clients that. But here’s where most agencies drop the ball. They don’t explain WHY marketing takes time.
Proactively setting expectations gets you and the client on the same page to establish sufficient time to deliver proper results.
