Want to know a little secret weapon to showing up on Google, and that doesn’t require complicated stuff?

There are the traditional “10 blue links,” what a lot of people consider SEO. But there are so many other things nowadays.

You also have things called featured snippets (or rich snippets), where you see cool stuff like reviews, and expanded, larger results.

There’s also a little FAQ panel that often shows up on page one of Google, and here’s what’s cool about it.

Short keyword targets might have higher search volume, but they’re broader and less qualified for converting customers.  Yet, this FAQ panel often shows up better for pre-qualified long tail search results.

If you really dial in the pain points of your audience, and the problems they’re trying to solve searching Google (that your product or service solves for them), you can get in their mindset to better serve them with content (FAQs) to recommend your product.

And that’s where the opportunity to monetize is…

If you can understand your customer’s pain points better, then you can answer it more exact. If you can answer it more exact, you convert the exact person that needed that exact answer… also positioning you as an authority.

See how big the results are in the attached screenshot.

SEO FAQ

Those FAQs also have a greater chunk of real estate in the search results.

Focus on those long tail FAQ results to get a better exposure, higher authority, and a better click through rate from better pre-qualified leads.

Plus, you achieve built in trustworthiness.  If you helped them answer their problem before they even clicked anything, just imagine how much more you could help when they see what you offer.
